We have developed three dry ice storage containers, made to be convenient and easily adaptable to a variety of situations in a broad spectrum of industries.
This convenient storage container is designed for a 2.5kg block of dry ice, which prolongs the lifetime of the product. The lid of the container may be adjusted to enlarge or close openings, as and when required. The container can store a 2.5kg round dry ice block.
This is our most popular type of dry ice container, being versatile and ideal for most non-commercial applications. They're great for leisure trips, small packages and day transportation of items and sensitive materials that need to be kept cold.

This storage container will extend the life of dry ice by approximately 84% when compared to conventional "Fishtainers", due to the fact that they have thicker walls and provide better insulation for dry ice. It is ideal for transportation and/or storage of dry ice for longer periods. Dry Ice is also exported to other countries in these containers. The DryIceTainer is ideal for camping, liquor and soft drinks, frozen meat and vegetables, fruit, fish, medical supplies and human tissue transport.
One of these containers can hold any one of these product configurations:
- 2 x 10kg boxes (4 x 2.5kg circular blocks/box)
- 3 x 10kg boxes (5 x 2kg square blocks/box)
- 20kg dry ice pellets (3mm)
- 20kg dry ice pellets (16mm)
As the largest of our container range, this storage unit has been designed and developed by Dry Ice International for use by regular clients. It can store 300kg of dry ice for extended periods. It is made of high quality polyethylene and the insulation is a special polyurethane. The RoloIceTainer is manufactured by a "roto-moulding" process.
It may be used at functions where large quantities of liquor and soft drinks need to be kept cool. Half fill the storage container with water and add 10kg of dry ice for every 2 hours of use. The water temperature will remain constant at 3°C, without the need for electricity.
